Aquadoodle and Elmo
February 9th, 2010 by kilwag

If you have kids, you end up with Elmo crap, like it or not. This thing is called Aquadoodle. It’s some sort of plastic paper printed with an ink that is barely visible until it gets wet. My kids don’t like it that much because they have no control over the colors. And because they are kids, they’ve gone ahead and scribbled on them. This Elmo on a skateboard dates back to 2007, tomorrow I’ll show you another Sesame Street character on a skateboard from 1977.

my daughters potty training seat has all those same characters on there. the elmo is identical. they’re all skating their way to a diaper free life.
and yes, you are right, there is no escaping elmo, its definitely better than those damn wonder pets though. i hate those things.

Perhaps I’m heading too close to ‘old man territory’ but being born in the mid 70’s. I really don’t remember being inundated with branded/icon crap.
Perhaps my parents were poor, or they just knew we’d be just as happy without this kind of crap. But just don’t remember anything of the sort.

Sesame Street was actually cool once when Johnny Cash appeared on the show singing “don’t take your ones to town bird…”
