Gremic Skates, mailorder and skateshops. Gremic South, Gremic North.
Check out this related video.
Raw footage of Ed Templeton, Jason Lee, Skip Pronier, Aaron Devine, Jake Burns, Steve Roberts skating in front of Gremic circa 1988, i think. Pretty old school footage before anyone was pro.

I used to skate at Gremic. We went to the demo

Great memories of taking two bus transfers to make it to Gremic Skates in Los Gatos. This is late 70’s.
One of my most cherished skateboard deck is an unused Pegasus Deck. This was Gremic in-house deck.

I had a Pegasys “Rocker” with Bennett Hi-Jacker Trucks and Power-Flex 4’s!
Gremic’s store smelt of glorious varnish & pizza grip tape adhesive!
(I think I use to get high from the fumes.)
I remember one of the brothers (Greg or Mike) did six 360’s in front of the shop. Winchester Skate Park just opened. Campbell Skate Park and Oakridge was in the works but never was finished. (You could BMX the dirt bowls tho!)
American WAS great back in the late 70’s!
