Hawaiian Punch iron on transfer. The seller says it appears to be from the 80’s but that doesn’t look like 80’s era iron transfer technology to me. I’m thinking closer to mid to late 90’s. UPDATE: Added pics of an 80’s era Hawaiian Punch skateboard.

UPDATED UPDATE: This board came up in discussion in the S&A Facebook group and coming back to this 2012 era post with 2012 era low res graphics was embarrassing. Added some better pics of the board from a 2021 auction. And because it was Josh Baker that brought it, up an image search also turned up his 2013 post of the t-shirt transfer that has much better pics.

I’ve featured Deckstool way back in 2008, but they’ve added new designs since then, and it’s worth it because how often do you get to use “#2” and “Stool” in the same post title? I’m pretty sure this is not how they envisioned their publicity opportunity.

The Guinness Book of World Records recently uploaded old footage from a 1996 record for the longest handstand. It’s pretty boring video except for the strangely riveting footage of the rollerblader on the support team, practically caressing the guy as he rolls down the road. So the longest handstand? I don’t know. It needs an asterisk. It should be “Longest Handstand with Gravity Assist.” I mean, common, we’ve got standards to uphold. Waiting to hear from the Handstand Man on this one.

This tip came to me with the subject line “Some Nerd,” which pretty much sums it up. Microsoft’s iPad contender called Surface actually looks pretty cool. Someone at Microsoft mounted trucks to it, at which point I’ll take the opportunity to point out that it’s already been done on an iPad. A Microsoft executive actually took it for a spin though.

Dezeen has photos of some skateable industrial architecture painted up pretty and chopped up a little and presented as an art installation. The bank looks fun, but the installation looks really intriguing actually. Rotor is the collective culprit in Belgium.
