Bankrobber strikes again!

The skateboarding bandit has struck again. I’m going to declare it now. He’s a modern day folk hero. Clyde (his board is Bonnie). Just like Jessie James, I hear he’s cheating on Sandra Bullock. No new photo though, so we’re still at sqaure one as far as identifying his skateboard company of choice. The LA Times credits this phototo the FBI, but shouldn’t it really go t the bank or the company that manufactures the security camera. And seriously, it’s 2010. Is this the highest resolution security camera technology we have?

– Thanks to Tito for the tip.

How am I supposed to identify this guy if I see him sessioning my local curb or bowl? The FBI needs a skate culture consultant so they’re asking the right questions, i.e. what was his setup? Tracker or Indy? Tight or baggy in the pants department? Fresh or Hesh? Goofy or regular footed? Mongo pusher?

    yo is that Eazy?!?

  3. I bet he rides an Anti Hero. Ha, get it.

  4. Historically (you know, las week), I associate this photo with music-gab-dorkfest impulses, so let me just say – apropos of nothing else – that, hey, y’all know where “props” comes from? It’s a contraction of a word Urethra Franklin uses in her song “Respect”, in the lines “All I’m asking in return honey / Is to give me my PROPERS when I get home”. (Though most internet lyric places guess “profits”, as if she’s the Queen of Pimping.) So remember, kids… “mad props” will always sound stupid to those who know what it really means… cuz there are not degrees of “props”; you either get your “propers” or ya don’t.
