Brilliant. Clearly, imminent injury to skateboarders is favored over simple deterrence.

  3. The ones downstairs at Memorial Coliseum are pretty like that too, only black

Skateboarding needs a hyper diligent team of grad students to quantify all the money spent in the world to deter skateboarding and all the money spent to accommodate skateboarding.

Any bets out there in cyberspace on what the ratio of expenditures is? 10 to 1? 20 to 1?

More realistically, how about just right here in Portland, Oregon – “skateboarding capital of the world?”

The best skatestoppers are the ones placed where there’s absolutely no line. Everybody reading this knows what I’m talking about… where they’re placed like 6 inches apart in the most absurdly inaccessible locations.

even though they are getting closer to making a practical skate stopper, they cant seem to get around the fact that they are dangerous, now the only difference is i can’t see it. IF I CANT SEE IT IM GOING FOR THAT LEDGE AND WHEN I DO IM GOING FAST.
