1965 Sears Christmas Book, page 429. This is the first year parents got a choice of skateboards when catalog shopping. Not to be outdone by Montgomery Ward, Sears also introduced their own private label skateboard line.

This one looks like it’s a 2 color print unless the red is hand colored. They definitely produced a one color version, which you can view here.

Deluxe 26-inch “Wipe-out” Surfer
Sears made at least 2 skateboards with the “Wipe-Out” moniker. One was a plain solid deck, and this one is the deluxe fiberglass edge model. This first photo is courtesy of Vintage Skateboards Collection.
