Be active with Yappy the dog
Mum-Mum Snax wants you to be active with Yappy Dog! Don Draper is rolling over in his grave because his character proably wouldn’t be alive now, and even if he was, this would kill him. That’s got to be one of the most unimaginative mascot names to-date. Mum-Mum Snax is a brand in the Hot-Kid family of products. I think everything they make is a rice cake derivatives. I’m officially launching my line of skateboarding food mascot clothing now. Bigger box plus a little skateboard button from the web site after the jump. – Thanks again to Seth Levy for the tip.
Jeebus Meme
I don’t know what the caption means, and of course, there’s no context or credit for the original over at Memebase.com. It’s Jesus H. Christ on the original (sin) wackyboard. – Thanks to MC for the tip.
You’re kiln it!
You’re kiln it! Ha ha hah ha hah ha ha haha ha ha ha ah hahah ha hah hah ha HA! Get it? GET IT?
Mom would never let me
So there’s a trend starting where ad agencies are using skateboards as props in living room shots. Garages, bedrooms and cars, sure but on the carpet next to the couch? This is a poster ad for SAP I spotted in the Atlanta airport, notice the skateboard next to the feet of what looks like a feral wolf-child lying on the carpeting. There’s another commercial for milk that I haven’t posted yet. It features Susan Sarandon tidying up a living room by removing the skateboard from next to the hearth.
Dogboarding
Dogboarding. I’d say “Meh….” but they did a really good job with it, even going through the trouble to green screen some live dog heads on the props. Well done. Watch it after the jump. – Thanks to Matthijs for the tip. Source? Oh.. I don’t know… where was this found… I’m starting a week of boycotting the source posts from this site since the guy who runs it never credits SnA or anyone else for that matter. Yes, I am that big of a baby at this point.
Extreme conditions require Extreme!™ simulations
You’d never guess what this contraption was if you didn’t know already, or the title of the post didn’t give you an inkling. It’s not the newest wackyboard. Take your best shot and get the answer after the jump. [Source: AL.com] – Thanks to Eric Cherry (again) for the tip.
Tony Hawk has Fast Company
Tony Hawk had a short interview in the How Did I get Here? column of the October issue of Fast Company. Turns out there is interesting reading material at my mother in-law’s house.
Extreme Parenting
This segment from fuel TV is kindof old actually, but still amusing. Sometimes I don’t post things like this because I see them as a a reminder of my failure to produce more original content on SNA. As soon as I win that lottery I’ll make up for it. – Thanks to Sarib Khalsa for the tip.
Mercury 7 and the New 9 opening

More info after the jump.
Friday T&A on S&A: Playboy
So the weird thing about this Palyboy TV video of nekkid girls skateboarding isn’t that they actually know how to carve in a bowl, ( one of them at least ) but that SkateLab is trying walk the tightrope between marketing products for kids at Target and Walmart, and providing a backdrop for adult videos. This Playboy TV sequence is pretty asexual, but I’m pretty sure there has been at least one really adult film made there. I thought I posted about it but I couldn’t find it. Helmet’s off to the management though, in theory that shouldn’t be a conflict of interest at all. For anyone keeping track, this isn’t Playboy’s first foray into naked skateboarding. – Thanks to Marek Litinsky, Greg Baller and Aaron Shims
