Christian Hosoi for Sk8 Candles

Christian Hosoi is involved in a product called a Sk8 Candles, and definitely not Skate Candles. I can’t help but feel like this is an idea we’ve seen before, perhaps not executed with he bearing in the middle, and only in the new school style symmetrical profile, definitely not a Snoopy candle. I like that they have different profiles, especially the 70’s tribute wheel. I probably would have decorated my swingin’ 80’s bachelor pad with these. I don’t think these are going to make a good Mother’s Day gift, unless your mom is rad.

Here’s the 70’s Tribute model as seen on teh web site. It looks to be a photo mockup beaus it doesn’t match the profile of the actual Sims wheel seen in the pictures above.  Check out the obviously tongue in cheek product detail info:

[Below] The choice of the Misfits makes sense, Jerry will licensee that for anything. The Clash, however, is a bit of an odd one. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Clash, but this combination in a candle doesn’t resonate with me. Also, those are PUNK, as clearly labeled in the photo.
