Jeep Grand Cherokee with Mike McGill

It burns me up when people get these uploaded to YouTube before I’ve even seen them. This commercial for the 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee features Mike McGill as skater dad. Pretty good concept, one very similar to what I gave to MC as an idea for one of his comics. This was uploaded by an actual Jeep dealer. If someone happens to capture this or can tell me on what network and show it aired, drop me a line. I need the high res version for the museum.

– Thanks to Andrew Wahl for the tip.

Cheap ass Airspeed wal-mart shoes by the one and only Mike Mcgill. F that kook and his four rails on his board.

  • DickCancer

F Tony Hawk and his fuck jam series bmx bike too.

  • DickCancer

F andy mac and his $3o cheap ASS payless shoe too.

  • Yeah, and F Max Headroom for giving me ADHD, and F people actually doing something with their lives, and F those skatepark builders and the pros and the shop owners and the blog and magazine owners, and F you little whiny punks mothers too.

Mike, good to see you still rollin and I’m glad you’re still able to be involved in skateboarding while supporting your family.

  • If you like paying $80 for the same made in china stuff as Andy’s
GO FOR IT supporting middlemen makes you so core

  • He should have pulled out the Mctwist. Wait, maybe he’s saving that one for the Mc Donalds commercial. Gotta give that guy some respect for his skating though.

  • Drunk Andy

    Get yours McGill.

  • Twist! Twist! Twist!

  • bill bowlrider

never say “one more” at a sesssion. It’s a sure jinx.

  • Or “last run”…you wouldn’t want it to end up being true. I like to say I’ll have another.

  • i was wondering why you did not post it. i have seen it so many times and i rarely watch tv. i will ask my wife to tell what network it is on

  • Prickly Pete

… but his kid is a BMX guy?

  • nweyesk8

Jeep also sponsored the Tony Hawk secret skatepark tour, that makes three bones brigaders

  • hey, when does the museum open? SnA – Skate national Archives.

  • That ad is running on cbs for sure, but I’ve seen it so much i assume its on all networks. It is a very common ad for at least the last 2-3 weeks. Anyone seen the Bridgestone tire ad with the skater doing a loop in a full pipe? I watch too much tv obviously…

  • That could have been any one.

  • terducken

Say what you will about his kookiness or whatever. All I know is that at Lake Cunningham’s opening day he blew Cab away in his own home park that he had been skating for months.

  • Gabe solame

Mcgill gets flac about jeep commercial what about mark gonzales’ nissan commercial?….its definately a way better commercial especially the charlie brown music but come on its jst proof skateboarding is mainstream and gonna stay that way…I know it sucks so all you guys bitching cause someone is making money at “your rebellion”….just get over it skateboarding is out better get back to breakin with lester….don’t worry you won’t be missed ill take a run for you anyways

  • stop the misrepresentation
