Seat auto - Ibeza car commercial with skateboards

Take a seat in an Ibiza

A car company in Spain called SEAT (?) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of a car called the Ibiza. They are promoting it with a commercial featuring a lot of skateboarding and the now ubiquitous Alphaville song Forever Young. They’ve got a very loose interpretation of a skateboarding timeline as the backdrop. is SEAT spanish for Mazda? Check it out after the jump. Thanks to Dean Tyrell for the tip. His friend Jairo Garcia is one of the skaters in the ad.

Seat is owned by VW. similar build quality but a lot cheaper

  5. Seat is sort of a Spanish version of Fiat, or used to be till VW came in. They used to make the Fiat 500 /600 ect under license in Spain as a Seat. It was as emblematic as the Spanish national car as it is in Italy.

my mistake – it’s not Jairo in the ad, it’s top Spanish ripper Alain Goikoetxea.
