I feel pretty safe skating my concrete pond, nothing over 4ft tall. I feel safe skating concrete padless, until the concrete, or wood ramp for that matter, is taller than me, then it turns into a run out and that hurts my feet

What about the beatdown factor? I feel pretty safe skating my wooden mini with no pads. Would I feel the same if it was concrete?

looks like a rad wooden bowl. unfortunately, after my DIY project, I don’t think I will ever be able to build another wooden ramp, Concrete forever.
