bowl

$9000 or best offer

If you’re in the Philadelphia area and have a truck as big as the hole in your wallet, why not pick ups this bowl/spine/mini ramp combo? It looks like it’s well built and would be fun to ride. Does anyone ever actually buy giant used ramps like this? The price might be reasonable, but the whole thing is just so impractical to move. If you buy this, I think I’m out of town the weekend you’re moving it, but I should be back in time to help you ride it.

Some old Nudebowl Footage I posted today on my FB…

I don’t know how all this works yet, so I am going to try and post a link. This is some footage I digitized from a 1989 Nude Bowl Session with myself, Lester Kasai, and Richard Salazar AKA Sal… Maybe after I do 10 or 20 bonehead moves like posting this, Randy will teach me how to put a proper link up… Editor’s Note: Here’s the link He has a YouTube account now, video after the jump.

Need a board, take a board. Have a board, leave a board

I was at the DOS bowl a couple months ago and noticed a rack on the wall with a few boards up there, more than there were people there. It was almost like one of those bowl of pennies at the store counter. The D.O.S. The facilities are clean and just like the Ramones sang, There was (is) beer in the soda machine.

A small redecorating

I’m pretty sure we posted a picture of this ramp some time ago. It’s Chad from Small Beating. New surface, new concrete coping. Wheee! Man that looks small. – Thanks to Theo for the tip.

Matt Kline’s fundraiser bowl jam is on

It’s been raining on and off here in Portland for the past few days. You’re itching to skate right? Fuel TV’s Pool Party webcast is going to be totally clogged, so maybe you should pack up the RV and head down to Matt Kline’s in Grants Pass for the bowl jam tomorrow. Matt called and said it’s on. He can tarp the bowl if necessary.

Cardinal Sinners Club

Here’s a couple of shots of another private indoor spot in Virginia known as the Cardinal Sins. I’m not sure how the name applies to this spot. Maybe some of the sinners will chime in. – Thanks to Chip Atkins for the pics
