Someone should have explained to the suits that the word “slam” has an unpleasant connotation when associated with skateboarding. Burstin Berry? Eeewww! I think I got a few of those this weekend at Sleestock. Nice tweaked tuck knee. Recognize the skater? Is that a Japan air? One more pic (the same one really, just in one piece) after the jump. Does anyone remember Slam wrist guards? They had a cool pop art logo. Now that was a good product name.

I saw it during the Godfather trilogy they’re airing this week on AMC. I think I caught it during some cheesy show like America’s Got Talent, too. The guy skating in the pool is Mike from Airspeed. The commercial you can see at Mitsubishi’s website.
