challenger for world's biggest skateboard

Gunning for Swank

There are lot’s of large skateboards, but only one title holder. Tod Swank has his work cut out for him running all that is Tumyeto without having to worry about people trying to take away his record for the world’s biggest skateboard. First there was that cheater (Update: Not a cheater) in Australia, Now there are a bunch of eggheads at Bay College who are building a 31 foot large skateboard as part of a project in a Computer Aided Design class. A student named Tim Timler (Seriously?) is the project lead. Tim, you suck. Tod didn’t need no stinking computers. The college president who is admittedly not a “balance person” is going to be one of the riders in the documentation attempt. Fantastic! [Source: Daily Press, Escanaba, MI]

Why are you against the new attept? I mean 31ft, thats a BIG board. It is also an replica of a board and trucks they have.

  2. I’m not really against the new attempt. Just poking fun that it takes a team of engineers and computers to topple something Swank did as a goof. Also, it irks me that the project lead isn’t a skateboarder. We’ve seen enough invasion of our lifetstyle from outside influences.

But then again, it is just a silly skateboard that doesn’t really affect what we love.

BTW, Tod is no longer the record holder. The Australian (Grant Hicks) wasn’t actually a cheater. His board is 21 feet, so looks like his reign will be short.

agree it will be short, not a fan that he could use brakes when we where denide it ourselfs. Our team leader isnt Tim Timler, it is a person named Shaun Anderson, paper screwed it up, neither of which are skateboards but we do have some skateboarders on our team and Tim T. used to skate he no longer does, as far as i know.
We are not trying to invade, we just need it for a grade so we can graduate haha.
