Here’s three vintage Levi’s print ads from the 70’s. The one on the right is from Salvador Dali’s brief, unpublicized performance art piece where he worked as commercial artist in various ad agencies. Yes, I am making this up.
I originally found this uncredited on Better Never than Late, but a little investigation turned up that this is actually a vintage poster that you can buy for $150 from David Pollack Vintage Posters. The date is unknown, but going by the “technology” of the skateboard, I’m going to say mid-to late 70’s during that period of time when there were some crazy wide and semi transparent red wheels.
This poster is from the collection of the art director of FCB (Foote Cone and Belding) Advertising in San Francisco. He kept an example of each poster that he worked on and that was comissioned by Levi’s from some of the great commercial artists of the 1970s and 1980s.

From Flickr user Tokka, this bizarre illustration is from 1977. The skateboard looks like a surfboard plopped on some wheels. The baseball bat sticking out of the top of the pants where the head should be is disturbing.
