Stowboard dork

Extreme Stowing.

I’ll try it on the streets sometime soon… and hopefully not end up embarrassing myself in the process.

Yeah, except you bought it in the first place, so you’ve kind of blown it already. This thing even turns into a rolling bag carrier! More extreme pictures, including what looks like photoshopped skatepark action shots, plus links after the jump.

Poor Kevin just loves personal transportation technology he doesn’t care about skateboarding. Sorry Kevin. These Stowboards have been around in some form since 2002. Kevin’s post brought it to my attention again. They’ve redesigned their web site to emphasize skatepark riding (!) if you can believe it. However, on closer inspection the picture looks like it may have been a photoshop job. The lack of video does nothing to lend credibility either. On top of that, Stowboards only have three wheels, and the foot-cage contraption makes it look impossible to use in a coordinated fashion. Who knows. After this post gets bumped back a little I’m going to try and get a review model. At least it won’t take up too much space in my basement.

  1. totally photochopped!
check the “blue halo” effect around the dude’s arms and legs…
the shadow is totally bunk too. [/design geek rant over]

  2. Oh my god! That’s a current product? That dude is wearing Freedom of Choice era gear. Maybe they mean sexy to other men.
