I’ve featured Deckstool way back in 2008, but they’ve added new designs since then, and it’s worth it because how often do you get to use “#2″ and “Stool” in the same post title? I’m pretty sure this is not how they envisioned their publicity opportunity.

As you said in one of your past posts “broken skateboards ARE a commodity!” We work with a bunch of shops and parks now, mainly on the east coast, and through our broken deck recycling program pay them cash per board they collect (depending on size, condition etc.) Some of these business are use the cash to help raise funds for local park projects, contribute to skate-charities, or just as extra cash for there business. It sucks to see small local shops shut down… two we have been working with just did. I know recycling boards won’t make the difference, but extra cash can’t hurt.
