That’s right. Stick anything on a skateboard to make it look cool, hip, young, and dare I say… EXTREME! So extreme that a mere cell phone camera couldn’t quite capture this Dole banana box without a blur.

Old people used to say stuff to me when I was a kid that would make me think they were crazy. Stuff that just didn’t make any sense, and couldn’t possibly have ever been true. I’m that guy now when I tell kids that skateboarding wasn’t “cool” when I was their age. Bananas sell better when you put one on a skateboard? I used to get threatened with bodily harm by complete strangers….
When I lived in PDX I saw a semi parked next to Burnside with the skating Banana. I liked syncronicity.
