Hey, don’t blow out the Bro Bowl….
Documentary’s first screening will be on Saturday at the Tampa skate park’s bar…(Skate park of Tampa snack shop)
Built in 1978 and designed by Joel Jackson… a rare non-supervised skate park in Florida, possibly the only one.
It is actually called the Perry Harvey skate park, named the bro bowl by the local skaters
Better than the Pro bowl.. lol
Ill hit that up was just in St. Pete & tampa in Dec/Jan
IT always will be the same. Bottles thrown at you and the local kids eyeing you for anything you might have left on the ground. My car got stolen there once and there really no good close place to park.
Or how ’bout the local kids with the old “let me try your board”, only to take off into the distance. If you actually did find them, There was an older brother to offer you a beat down in exchange. Not a hard choice.
It was always a great warm-up for shows at the Cuban Club.
Good Times!
Haha, the old “let me try your board” or “can i get a turn”. How about the guy who always had $2 rocks for sale, “Hey man, i got some rocks for $2 man; you’ll fly on that skateboard like you never flown before.” haha, classic!
