Hey I think Paul weir had a whole lot of alva skateboard stuff, we all did right? Well I remember opening new boards and other stuff from garden and smith, well the boards from alva did NOT come with a bunch of comics and other stuff trying to gain the skate culture sold on surfing and skateboarding for christ, yeah that was part of Gordon and smith , (a christ centered company) the skate shop I worked at and rode for ,well we would ALLWAYS have a moment of reflection(laughs) whenever a order of G&S stuff showed up, they did have Stacy Peralta from z boys fame riding for them,but it was the kind stuff that didn’t make sense ,the out of touch with the type of young men they were simply not going to reach was clear, but they ALLWAYS continued to reach out to us, funny huh? Alva reach a different place primal and kinda dangerous, well parents liked Stacy Peralta ,even with his long hair! Go figure right
