Highlights: Seemingly obsessed with satanic graphics on skateboards, but it’s not clear whether it is sarcasm or not. Similar potential beef with Powell Peralta and Tommy Guerrero.

Extras: So what’s up with Rage’N Nor Cal Local #1? It says “Only 43 calories” on the cover, and to be sure, it’s a light one at eight pages, only a few small photos and the rest made up of collages of comic strips and logos and advert repros that have been thoughtfully graffitied on. The editor, location and date of the zine are unnamed, but it appears to be from Northern California (duh) Circa 1988 or 1989. Whoever it was seems to have had a Tourette’s Syndrome tic that caused him to mention satanic skateboard graphics. I can’t tell if it’s in jest or not. Nor can I tell if he was really ripping on Powell Peralta and Tommy Guerrero or not. There’s a sense of humor for sure, (see the Secret Spots Revealed, Indy Air and Trick Tip for the Nollie Body Rap.) Most surprising thing: Printed record of someone who is pro (meaning for) Rannalli Trucks. I don’t think I ever saw a set of those in real life. Motobilts and Z Rollers sure, but no Rannallis.
