This was one of 3 or so skateboard shops in Calgary, Canada in the 1980s and probably into the early 1990s. The photographer, Ken Achenbach owned the shop with his brother Dave. Dave is the snowboarder on the first cover of TransWorld Snowboarding magazine in 1987.
These were great dudes with a great shop and did a lot for the local skate scene even though they were much more famous for snowboarding. I bought my first new board there, probably in 1987. A bonite Tommy Guerrero.
Correction: I just checked. The Snoboard shop closed in 1988.
