Where is this waterslide called Wet Willy’s? Somewhere in Missouri. An earlier post sparked some interest so I dug around on the Interweb and found some very intersting non-action photos and a video on YouTube. Reminds me of a waterslide session we had in Champaign Illinois back in the 80’s. Until I dig up those photos you can see more from the two sources above. The top pictures are poached from Memory Machine and the bottom two are frame grabs from Workshop’s video.

Finally getting these pics posted. Aside from my usuall offereings there are a couple of extra pics contributed by MC and David Vierra. Didn’t know if this thing was going to be torn down before we could get it drained. Not the greatest pool, but it sure was fun stalking and staking it out. Ridnig it was fun too, of course. This summer has seen a bumper crop of pools in the Portland area. There must be a lot because even I know about them. The last time I rode this many pools in such a short time period was shortly before I dropped out of school. Since I can’t post the pics of the pools that are still going, you can see some highlights of my poor decision in the late 80’s.

It’s ok if you can’t tell where it is right?. Oh oh, I know where that smudge is. If you want to know where this pool is, just wander around wearing a diving mask smeared with Vaseline until you recognize something. More pics coming when this spot is dead. UPDATE: See this mystery skater unmasked!
