I can appreciate this project a lot, but if they wanted to really go old school they’d stick with steel wheels. I really don’t know squat about Nomad Skateboards except it has nothing to do with American Nomad. In fact, this company is out of Spain. They must be doing well though, or at least they have an extremely competent marketing department. The video and imagery for this limited edition board looks thoroughly professional. – Thanks to Seth Levy for the tip.

That last post was the 5000th post. Hooray. Sure the quality may have gone down since I actually have to work while I’m at “work” now, but hey, who loves ya baby? I do! I’ve seen some Tumblr sites with way more, but those are just photos and no text, I could do that all day long. So Hooray! Here’s a link to the first post I made after switching to Wordpress in 2006. Another set of stairs made from skateboards. This set might actually predate the other set judging by the post date on the original source (which is not responding as I write this.) Friends of Pier Park and Solv will be doing another Pier Park Pickup next Saturday from 9-12. Trash pickup around the skatepark, paint over graffiti, probably paint the bottom of the big bowl, patch the coping grout, etc. Come lend a hand.
