Moving on. Nothing conveys the excitement of skateboarding better than an article titled “Supervisors Rethinking Skate Park”! Who are these supervisors and what are they thinking?

It’s just my opinion. That’s all. Skateboards should be screen printed directly is all I am saying.

If you are waiting for your Black Label Emergency boards to ship, you shouldnt be waiting much longer. They ran into a problem with the transfer papers which caused a lag on getting them printed. They are supposed to be done and shipping any day now.

Retarded UK video game magazine Edge declares Danny Way better than Tony Hawk. Well, at least it does in a short magazine graphic. The article is about an upcoming Danny Way video game called “Skate” which is also supposed to be Better than Tony Hawk.

The Morning Call Online reports: “ City Cautions, But Won’t Ban Skateboarding.” No big deal. right? Keep reading and you find that one city council member tried to get a ban on sidewalk skating without written permission from the property owner. That ordinance didn’t make the cut, but a city-wide ban on skateboarding at night remains in effect!

Maxtor makes hard drives. Kids these days with their Myspaces and digital cameras and the pirate MP3s need a place to store all their Interweb desktops. Maxtor thinks they can sell them a networked storage drive. They’ve created a web site with a fake family to show off the product. The daughter’s name is Tirin, and she has a dream (other than a real name) and that is to make her own skateboarding website…” Hey Tirin, as this site will prove, any jackass can download WordPress and make one for free. Duh. I swear I’ll make a real skateboarding post soon.

There’s a kick ass web site called spamusement.com whose description is “Poorly-drawn cartoons inspired by actual spam subject lines!” Tony Hawk just happens to appear as a reference in one of the cartoons. At this point he has entered the collective subconscious of the non-skating public and has become a pop culture reference. This cartoon isn’t one of the best or worst from that site. There are some that are laugh-out-loud funny. I highly recommend it. This one is currently 164 out of 323 which would date it at approximately 2005 according to the copyrights on the web site.
