Yeah, it’s got nothing to do with skateboarding, other than a few incidental shots each episode, but as far as mindless entertainment goes, it’s regularly good for a few laughs, so I guess I was wrong about the Rob and Big show. Plus I always liked the theme song from the Courtship of Eddies Father. Or maybe I had a crush on Mrs. Livingston. Hello, Mr Eddie’s father. Let the hate mail commence.

Tony Hawk is so famous he even made it on Celebrity Baby Blog, where they point out that he’s expecting his fourth child with his third wife. That means another appearance on MTV’s Cribs must be in the works since the first two wives got theirs. Do you want to watch video of tony Hawk rubbing his wife’s belly? (No.) He’s surprisingly jovial considering the freelance TMZ cameraman/celebrity stalker is a complete moron. “Are you happy with how the elections turned out?” Seriously? Granted, the site is named Hypebeast, but they are reporting that the Disney corporation has Christian Hosoi to design some limited edition skate decks and apparel. No actual confirmations yet, so maybe it was just an excuse to make that cool graphic. We got hacked this weekend. I’m still trying to sort it out. Expect sporadic outages and a craptacular look and feel for the next couple of days. A computer game called Peggle, kind of a pinball or Pachinko kind of game has this “skatepark level.” The game is funny, when you clear the level you get the Ode to Joy music as you enter Extreme Fever! Funny graphics. Bobcat, this might be up your street with unicorns and rainbows. You can play the demo for an hour then it’s twenty bucks.

Tony Hawk’s Big Spin has been open for a while now. It’s got to be surreal having your own amusement park ride. There’s no Michael Jordan’s Big Dunk ride out there, but you would think he would have been able to sign the contract if he wanted. Here’s two YouTube videos with two different takes on the ride.
