Retailer Education by Kryptonics

A trip to Target is a 50/50 chance that’s I’ll be able to squeak out a quick post. This time I found this helpful display instruction accidentally left on by an employee who stocked the shelves. Maybe the next version the Kryptonics produces will have an addendum that says “Don’t forget to remove this notice.” This is the very important, critical piece of skateboarding history that would be lost if I were not out there tirelessly documenting it. Betsy, where’s my Nobel Peace prize? Part of me actually wanted to take the paper notice home with me, but how embarrassing would it have been trying to explain that to store management after I got stopped by security, walking out the door?

After all that, I forgot to take a picture of the bottom graphic. It was some sort of shield or crest that was totally forgettable.

Not only is ‘sna’ informative, it is educational. No wonder i couldn’t find ‘phalus’ in the dictionary. Keep the sesh On! Where can I find ‘Skate and Annoy’ T-shirts for sale? I would like one RED, BLUE, &BLACK in XL
    Thanks Big K

David, the only thing inappropriate, is a horse’s falice in your…. I try to be nice and I get Mrs. Smith correcting my community college english. I guess I’ve never mastered the apostrophe. It’s to bad, I’m just a skater.
And I’m not afrraid to drive to Klamath Falls, Oregon and skate The Real!

    • A

I believe he’s talking about the apostrophe in the sign, “toward’s” also, it’s phallus, not “falice”

  • David Campbell

And what’s with the inappropriate apostrophe?

  • dickcancer

    Kilwag,
We thank you from the bottom of our heart for this site.
You’ve been officially thanked by Dickcancer.

  • that one on top actually looks like it would be kinda fun to surf to the (insert your gay destination here, like pot store) on….

    • George'sdeadboss

Okay, to “avoid” derision, we should make clear as skaters that we mean no harm to people when we call things gay, AND, to this end, since only some of them are gay and some of them are manic depressive, we should start referring to people as manic depressive, and only to things as gay, to avoid being unpurposefully rude… much as the English purposely refer only to males as “cunts”. Besides, “I’m gay” or “he’s gay” would not really be a topic for polite conversation, any more than “I’m not asexual” would be… whereas, “I’m manic depressive” would be ambiguously polite. Oh, and what was with Carol Burnett calling a character in a skit “Reverend Felcher”? I swear, kids today….

      • George'sdeadboss

Although, granted, that would make it totally unclear what was meant by manic-depressive marriage.

        • George'sdeadboss

In fact, if Oscar Wilde were still around, I’m sure he would point out that “All weddings are gay, and all marriages are manic-depressive”.

  • Doesn’t look like the employees are very good at following the instructions…
