Gang Green out of Boston have been around since 1982, skating, rocking and drinking, splitting up and reuniting again many times. They have a new album in progress that was once announced for the year 2007! Last year saw a little teaser, a 7” single with the songs “I fear” and “The other place”.
“I fear” is a pretty atypical song for the band, a really slow mid-tempo hymn. The perfect soundtrack for coming back home at 4 a.m. from a night with your best friends, drinking way too much. Definitely not the best choice for the a-side of a 7”, rather a perfect “last song” for an album.
“The other place” on the flipside is WAY faster and rougher. Drunken high-speed skatepunk with shredding guitars, metal solos and a slight Oi!-core influence.
Guys, it´s time for the album now!!
Old stuff…
