Says The other MC that skates the big bowl at Pier park way more and way more better than me. Wait that might be the problem? I need to skate the big bowl at pier way more!

  3. Self-esteem is just that, for SELF. And mini ramps are the cure for my AOV. (Adult Onset Vagina) I’ll skate much longer in life on minis than I would an 11′ vert. And I’ll have more fun each session.

I don’t know, the little stuff kicks my ass! When I fall on the little stuff I just…fall. I can run out of the bigger stuff way easier! Love it all though!

Love my mini, it’s not the size, but how you use it.

I seem to get hurt more and often on small stuff like mini-ramps, small concrete bowls, curbs, etc. than the big stuff. A good example of a place where this happens to me ALOT is Pier. Also, It feels better (for me) to get a scratcher in the deep end of Pier than a long 50-50 in the tiny bowl.

  8. Lay off the t-ball!

    1. I expect to see adult Tee-ball

I was 6yrs old playing t-ball when I hit a line drive straight at the crotch of the girl on the pitchers mound. She dropped and everyone is yelling at me to run, I felt horrible for her. And yes, t-ball is co-ed, I wasn’t on the girls team- at least I think.

I dunno… I’m much less skittish about dropping down a foot or two of vert than I am about trying a trick I don’t know how to do, on anything… so maybe vert is our midlife Corvette?(our glass fortress our mainstay…)?

  10. In fact, (having helped a friend on Sundays for three years – the only day he had time – to complete a big wooden one), I would say that, specifically, backyard bowls are OUR midlife-mobile, MC.
