bacon skateboards MC comic series 2010

Bacon comic series

I did art for a deck series for Bacon Skateboards. Ask for them at your local skateshop. I also did a mini ‘zine for them as a catalog. You can download it from my (12.5MB) Bodyslam page print it two-sided and follow the instructions to make your own. Bacon is also printing a bunch so you might be able to get it from them.

sweet deal, no only if they were 9 or 10 inches wide…..

  12. Finally they have graphics that don’t suck…..huh?
Like you are F*$#ing art critic Kilwag???
Get off your high horse man

    1. Well, yes. Colin knows I’m not a fan of his art direction, and its all in good fun. Why, did you do some of their art?

      1. I never once liked their art. Skulls and blood! Oh my! It’s well drawn, but played out.

I do dig most of Merde’s stuff though. Except that goofy pig. He’s a tool.

        1. I do, however, like this comic series quite a bit.

  13. What you don’t see in this photo (because they are out of order) is that they all overlap a little, making one big pic. Much cooler in person.

Yes,I noticed that right away but I didn’t feel like mentioning it.
With every board, the comic shifts one row,but does it make one continuous story?
      Clever me…

      1. Naw, I wanted them to stand alone. I originally had them surrounded by random comic frames but I like how they work together now.

That’s funny;if you hang them on your wall and you want to see the big picture, they need to overlap bigtime.
But seriously very nice work Conahan.Congrats!

          I ment Mister Conahan…

  14. You can almost get a sense of the continuous image, I put a couple of the boards in the wrong order, fixed it here. I was going for a sunday funnies idea. I think they look great and I’m grateful to Bacon Skateboards for the opportunity.

  15. I saw this set of boards down at Rip City. They look sweet! Very nice job Conahan!
