Death’s Head vs Astronaut

From the Reasonably Clever blog’s Toybox of Fail, it’s the Jing Zhiwei brand’s lego bootleg titled “Death’s Head vs Astronaut.” They don’t make the distinction between alien and astronaut, which is very forward thinking of them. It’s his profession we are interested in, not what shade of green red his skin is. He looks like more of a devil or an ant man than an astronaut anyway. If there was going to be an epic battle between the grim reaper and a life form from another planet, it’s only natural that it should take place on skateboards, no?

Turns out the astronaut is green after all. Skeletor holds a flame in one hand and what appears to be a wicked cocktail in the other. I have to assume the green spider belongs to him too. Not sure about the possible snorkeling mask setup. The astronaut comes armed with a blaster and a crossbow for when he runs out of batteries.

If you find one of these in the wild, please let me know.

I does not really look like much is interchangeable with Lego except Death’s Head’s head itself. it’s almost as if some little chineese factory got a leftover Lego head mold.
I for one think the new Lego scene is lame. you just follow plans. it used to be just blocks. it’s lame! I have been making better DIY Lego skate stuff off and on for over 30 years, and even though the Lego corp makes it easy and easyer to build new fantasy skate stuff, it used to be just two

The gun, crossbow, flames, scorpion are all blatant copies of lego designs/pieces. I only follow the directions once, and then it gets destroyed and added to the trunk full of pieces. Engrish rules!

Cool! reminds me of my favorite beer drinking glass (RIP) which had the slogan ‘lets get together and save the beautiful earth’ and a picture of a crab monster kung fu kicking a flying saucer.
