  • Red’s Rockstar Pyrotech got him in the top 3. Cool Bi-fecta though, I must say……..2 Twelve Year olds almost beat Benji, that’s something to think about.

  • Pyro technics once won a contest for Lance Mountain.

  • Lance and Benji killed it. The overall field was not as impressive as previous years…lack of sponsorship and $$$ ? Or did last week’s Xgames create a conflict for some of those guys?
$300 for 1st place pro is kinda low. You can win more money by winning a “tony hawk pro skater” video game contest.

  • Yeah, the prize money is embarrassingly low.

  • The prize money might be low, but there’s a better chance of the checks clearing that way.

  • Do you know what place Jeff Taylor got?

  • nweyesk8

he was in the finals, so he didn’t place below 7th….he seemed happy

  • Mason didn’t get in the top 3? Didn’t he do a bs 360 ollie way up in the fullpipe, among other things? Suspect.

  • Amazing skating. Tough one to judge. Everyone just seems to get better and better. It is too bad that there isn’t more money, but it shows how all the participants really just love the event.

  • is Chris Russell the kid doing the tailslide reverts in the corner? that was ridiculous.
I had fun heckling Estes as i was watching online – i had the whole family watching the finals at one point…

  • I heard they had a finger board contest at the Maloof.
    The winner got 10 grand.

  • Kerin was doing his best to break my van.

  • dudes were burnin’ one on top of the pipe, you’d never see that on x games. estes made a comment of “the crowd smells like beer”

  • Mark Partain!…and even Pinchy made the scene…

  • someguyonbreak

Oh no, he’s wearing pads. Don’t show the Concrete Disciples trolls that picture!

  • Taylor got 8th. Scott Lambright got 5th in the Masters.

  • I figure probably half the guys on concrete D. wear pads and the other half dont. Beer and pier does go together well. I had a sixer in my mini cooler.

  • KC, the 10 grand was the best trick comp sponsored by TechDeck. Real skateboards, toy sponsor. There’s video of the event out there. Adam Dyet got the bag full of money.

  • Glad to hear that. The Trifecta does need a bigger purse though, at least enough to make it worth the trip to Oregon. It does say a lot about the skaters who are down for skateboarding, and not in it for the money.
