Of course we’re recycling it at as well, but the New York Times story on skaters hitting the pools of houses in foreclosure is being recycled. John Aguilar sent in this scan from the Tacoma News Tribune from Tacoma, Washington. I expect it showed up elsewhere too. We (SnA) got another plug, or rather the same plug, since it’s the same story credited to the New York Times. We should expect to see some new versions of this story. believe it or not, CNN and a Fox News channel contacted the humble offices of Skate and Annoy, as if we had the inside scoop. Look, Clarence. I don’t know those kinds of people, and more importantly, they don’t know me!

That skater “circling the rim” of the pool looks like he may be about to slam if you ask me. Too bad they didn’t give the guy a better shot…

NICE RIM JOB – yea. jim wilson is a pretty good photographer but obviously not a skater. had he been, he probably would have realized the dude was bailing and picked a different photo. this is kind of like taking a shot of a guy getting rim-checked and saying he was “slamming the dunk.”
duders
we call this “newspaper photographer syndrome” usually on ramps where the skater is in the air and the coping is cropped out
ps dont ask dont tell but chicks like rim jobs too, if theyre not uptight
