Danimal sent in cell phone reconnaissance of new construction in Lincoln City, Oregon. The last addition was the amazing monster snake run. I’m not sure what the master vision is here. (More concrete – Duh!) It almost looks like a motocross track. Looks like another bowl too. They’re going to run out of square feet pretty soon.

the new race track looks like the so-called “flow” area at lake cunningham except red’s vision looks way better and it will be built by skaters. the cunningham flow area is built on a scale for bikes.

Hell yeah, No worries on the park being over-run, I rode there with 3 other “out of towners” for a week this summer. The snakerun in the park is amazing, the new one looks like my 70’s fantasies poured into conrete!

the one kid was mad cause I bumped his bike with my van as we were leaving LC, but the dumb shits were sitting in the road ,purposefully trying to make us go around them. I said fuck it and barely missed the kids feet as I hit his bike 🙂

Bikes were tossed at the van out of frustration. Then we had bike problems in Reedsport. That was a great trip.

And we’ve all collided with some other fucker at the park and it can be ugly. Now switch it up so that the other fucker is pushing 20 lb aluminum bike frame at 30+mph…yer fucked.
I hope I make down there this summer.

thanks for the photos. last time i saw this phase, it was just mud moved around.
the idea is a skate-track. it’s set back near the tree line to establish the perimeter of the skatepark area, so if anything happens in the future and the city tries to curtail the expansion of the park, the argument can be made that the park is not expanding, but merely filling in the given area.
like the snakerun and the pool, this is largely a volunteer operation.
