if finding santa cruz shirts at Ross is important to you then you are happy. if you like all these nice free skateparks, then you are happy too. you can be indifferent if you just need a curb, and you can be bummed if you are bitter about something.

  2. WINNER: Curtis!

  3. Team sports have always been elitist. Creating markets for spectating was brilliant, but (some of) the marks were bound to catch on eventually. Mass desire for skate specific public space has made my life more interesting, I’m declaring victory!

somebody get this man a burger

  5. skateboarding culture has become elitist.

  6. Sell outs, mainstream, X-Games, Dew Tour, video games, this that and the other. I can skate so much and everywhere. I like doin’ it, I like watchin’ ‘it. And I NEVER get busted or chased out of a spot or session. If that is a problem for you, then you’re doin’ it wrong.

  7. Skating the park is just a chance to meet more great people who have ‘the sickness’, so to speak, and I love nothing more than crossing paths with great people who make life happen Everyday. Spectators are specters, skating demands your complete attention.

Plus, if there are unsavory folks at the park, well I always need a little reminder that being cool is an evolved perception and not for the weak.
