Nash Executioner

Bacon sells out to NASH!

Seriously, these things come over the wire abbreviated and all I saw were the phrases “Skateboard Demo”, Bacon, and “sponsored by Nash.” It’s not the crap skateboard manufacturer Nash, but the Nash Motorcycle Company out of Vancouver Washington. They are sponsoring some sort of motorcycle-centric event at Stone Edge Skatepark in Florida as part of Daytona Bike Week 2008. Looks like Stone Edge has a lot more wood than concrete. Yes. This is motorcycle/skateboard crossover day. I looked all over the Nash Motorcycle site and I couldn’t find an Executioner model, but I did find something that looks like a Nash skateboard part! Benji probably isn’t getting any free motorcycles out of this seeing as how he got screwed out of the TV.

The Concrete Nine Bowl is still there, Damn that has to be old now..(looks really mellow in that photo, although it isnt really very tall in deep anyway). Funny, this park used to be all concrete except for a steel vert ramp.
There were 3 other concrete bowls. The other 2 bowls were Pretty gnarly, and other area was like a transition streetish bowlish thing.
    It’s been years..
    Yeah, Daytona Beach nice..

  2. the nine was 3 1/2 in the shallow and about 5 or 6 in the deep. the best part was the bottom parts were half tranny and and the upper part flat bank.

there was the clover (a mellow flow bowl), the Peanut (like a hamster in a wheel quick.. get in and fight for the coping and the egg. The egg was the most challenging to skate as it was bumpy and had this weird set-back coping.

Great times heading down there in the past and staying at the sketch motel right across the street.
