Bristol Skateboard Centre

We’ve got the strength to give him the confidence!

Down here in Bristol City, (we have skateparks too, y’know), we nave been putting together a programme of boards that are going to measure up to the demands that today’s parks are putting on your equipment. whether you are lucky enough to have had a skatepark built in your neighbourhood or not, we have the goods  that will give vou the confidence to go for the most radical manoeuvres – and pull them oft with style.

The BRISTOL range of decks have been through severe ‘in park’ testing for all shapes and construction techniques. The end result is two BIG decks for those who want tomorrow’s boards today. The shape is radical – the ride unreal. A 4″ radius, semi-circular nose providing 8′ wide parallel rails and a square-cut kicktail fo maximum critical control. The BRISTOL VERTICAL: – A multi-laminate manle/millimine fibre deck• the lightest of the BRISTOLS. but like any laminate board is not indestructible. To cater for those who out their boards through heavy abuse. we dreamed up the BRISTOL VERTICAL I. Same shape, but all ash construction with bevelled rails – this deck can take all you want to give it.

Both these decks are available in a good range of sizes: 28 – 30* – 32″-36″ Also BRISTOL ORIGINAL . like the man sez “The original’s the BEST” Available in both ash and stripes.

And, of course, B.S.C. maintains its reputation of having the latest landing gear at the best prices. Take the BELAIR wheel range. Chris Chaput’s sensational LIP-BOMB which rip in slides. BELAIR BOLTS and BLAZERS – real hard park wheels. Mike Williams (Desioner of Gullwing and Phoenix trucks) has come out with WINGS wheels. which just ‘flv through parks and pools. And we have massive stocks of the wheel that we will rule in ’78 – EXCELLERATOR – white hot, resilent wheels 57mm. & 65mm. with double radial edges and centralised bearing wells – wheels that can really cope in all ultimate situations. To complete the package, check out the R.H.P. ad. in this issue – it tell you all you want to know about the 575 (mid) truck that s going places this Summer.

Just send a SA.E. for our ‘Bumper Mail Order Cataloque and see for
