Extras: I guess a lot of people (myself included) used to pronounce Contort wrong, with the emphasis on the first syllable instead of the second. The photocopier used for this issue must have been running out of toner. It’s got coverage to the edge of the paper, which was rare, but it is one of the faintest zines in my collection. Quite a contrast to a later issue that would be put out in 3D via a color copier, stereoscopic camera, and red and blue 3D lenses. Dan later went on to get a MFA in photography and even received an N.E.A. grant in the 90’s.
