The first issue under the name "National Skateboard Review." The original project with Peggy Turner and Di Dootson was called "Skateboard Racing News" and ran for one issue before Di carried on without Peggy and renamed the publication. Cover features Lance Smith, and features include “Weekly Races At La Costa,” "Northern California Pro-Am Contest,” “La Costa Race Results,” “Ventura Holds Its Second Skateboard Contest,” “Carlsbad Skatepark Opens,” and “World Cup Skateboard Competition -San Francisco.” 4 pages total.
