Weirdo Skateboards presents Skate the Lake 2012

LCRSP – Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark, and WEIRDO Skateboards continue to “Come In Hot” this Summer, when our yearly Skate The Lake Contest Series, hits Part 2 for yet another day of summer madness.

WHEN:
The Second and Final Date is Saturday August 11th:

WHY:
Because we have lost our collective minds, ha ha just kidding.

We will be hitting up the Full Pipe in all it’s glory for an Open Contest, also a good old fashioned Highest in Pipe, topped off with a Best Trick in the Cradle/Funnel Bowl.

Mike O and the crew from SKIDMARK Skate Magazine will also be there to MC the Adult Events.

LIVE MUSIC will be featured during and throughout the contest event.

8:00am: Open
9:30am: Grom – Mini Bowl Contest
12 noon: Begin Live Music
12:30pm Adult Full Pipe Contests
10pm: Close

DETAILS:
Entry fee for All Contests is $5, includes all day skate
Whole Park Open to Skate
Must wear pads & helmet (free rentals that day, first come first serve)
All proceeds used to fund Contest Cash Prizes and Giveaways

FOOD:
Tacos El Tribi will have their excellent taco truck on-site. There is also plenty of room to picnic or cookout in and around the park.

Lastly, if you don’t want to pay to park there is parking in adjacent residential areas, then just walk in and save on parking.

Hope to see everyone there who can make it, again, this should be really good.
