Here’s a Sick Puppies music video for a song called Odd One. For sick puppies, these are pretty sensitive mofos. Hmmn… I wonder if the lead singer ever listened to Dave Grohl. If nothing else, there are some really nicely framed and lighted shots of whatever skatepark this was shot at.

All the non-skatepark shots in the video are trademark down town L.A spots but Im pretty sure that park is inland, San Bernardino or east LA, maybe.
My 1st guess was Fontana but this park looks bigger in most shots and all the east LA parks kinda look the same. Maybe Diamond bar or Corona….Horrible music tho. I’d rather hear my wife scream at me or gunshots from my kid bedroom than that shit again.

Belvedere is a fun skate park. Why is this band even playing in a skatepark, there is like 2 seconds of skateboarding in the video? Where are the locals? It’s east L.A. man!

I’m not dissing Dave Grohl, I’m a fan. I’m just saying Mr Puppies is obviously a fan too. Funny thing is, I hated this song from the minute I heard the opening simpering, but as I kept scrubbing through it looking for screen captures it started to grow on me. That bit with the backing vocals at the end is jarringly out of place.

Lots of cool stuff is from Australia, this isn’t one of ’em. Don’t keep listening Randy, it’s like doing to yourself what the radio does to people. Cramming it into your head until you like it proves it wasn’t likable to begin with.

It has almost 59 MILLION views, and was SP’s homemade video made in memory of the death of the hugs guy’s mother. Hug guy posted it on youtube, it became a sensation and earned SP a recording contract.
