Skate theme targets teen scene
So… you can get t-shirts printed up and then compressed into the shape of a skateboard, among other things, and then covered with a promotional graphic and encased in shrink wrap. In other words:
Get air with a skate theme that targets the teen scene.
Errr.. right. Three models available, all of them not quite right.
Here’s the first option. You can see they went for the architectural perspective, but it still looks wacky. I’d hate to actually ride on that board. Available here.
Option number two looks more realistic, but then the trucks and wheels are just printed on the side of the package, and that’s a cop out. Available here.
This option simultaneously wins the prize for realism and most boring implementation. Available here.
I got a GUINNESS bar towel recently that was similarly shrunken into a GUINNESS pint glass shape. It came with an 8-pack of their fine beer.
Upon opening the shrink wrap, the towel heaved out all wrinkled like a newborn, and required a washing to restore it to be towel-worthy.
Remarkable technology when used correctly, but clearly a trademarked pint-glass shape is foolproof, whereas generic ‘skateboard’ shapes need work.
Awesome towel by the way.
i saw richard cheese play recently, and he was selling his shirts the same way, martini galsses, bow ties, etc… must be pretty cheap to print, as he was selling shirts for 10 bucks.
The shapes above are just a few but you can also create any custom shape, so if they are boring then it’s cause the people who bought them are boring lol
so yeah, you can also get these at http://www.teecompressed.com – pretty cheap to print and compress though.
