    “How long have you” would work better… and since when are the little brats any more blurtive than we were in our youth (or ARE, on twitter)??

      Today’s kids are too busy to have more than one verb in a sentence. Sorry, my word balloon was too small.

    I have been in that same predicament quite a few times. It’s hard to act your age and not be a smart ass and say you’ve been skating for 15 minuets. Good one MC.
