Burnside history in pictures
The official web site for the Burnside Project is kind of a mess, hosted on two separate Blogspot accounts, and hard to read and find your way around. If anyone needs/wants help rebuilding the site, consider this my formal offer to do it, pro bono of course. On the plus side, there is a bit of written history that is a work in progress, going back and getting things right is a daunting task. The best part is an old section with a wealth of tiny pictures of various stages of Burnside, mostly from Kent Dahlgren, going way….. back. It looks like it was made back in the modem days, cause the images are pretty small, but still they are an amazing resource. Check out Burnside Photoview.

I made that photo viewer in Flash and had some kid scan all those photos, that was a long time ago. I forgot that stuff was still up there. I have hi-res versions of all those photos, I used small ones because we were all still using modems back then.
I wanted the site to be historical and current, but didn’t have the enthusiasm to make it current so I just rediected it to my friend’s blog, as he is involved with the place still. I have a first hand account of the history, but I don’t know or care what goes on there nowadays.
That was a fair amount of work to adjust all those photos and add a bit of info to each one. All I ever got out of it was shitty emails about how lame the site was because it was all old stuff. Ha ha ha. Nice to see someone appreciates it.

Yeha Kilawag , Yeah that would be great if you would like to help with a site redesign!! I have access & Chuck said I could work on it. Just as all of us time is limited, & he doesnt have alot.
