Just like Skate Bush before her, only more risque. It’s Skate Moss, a web site dedicated to fake skateboard graphics featuring Kate Moss.

The rough translation of “muckefuck” is Germanic Europe slang for fake or substitute coffee, going back to one of the world’s many fine wars when coffee became unavailable. Muckefuck is also the name of a skateboard company that has branched out into wheels as well. Speaking of fake coffee, some things are downright tasteless…

By the time this post goes live, the limited edition Disney Paul Krassner & Wally Wood will undoubtedly be sold out or otherwise no longer available from Boom Art, $340 or not. The content aside, the overall package is really well done. This is the way to, uhm… do it. The Disneyland Memorial Orgy illustration is not a tip to 90’s era skate graphics copyright steamrolling, but was originally drawn in 1967 and published in what the hippies called an underground comic. OOPS! Thought I had scheduled this for Friday!

Lots of positive things going on at the first all female downhill event at Maryhill, but of course I’ve objectified here on S&A. That’s OK ladies, our readers will enjoy this video from Push Culture News for it’s empowering images of females, and not because they (readers) are pigs.

Thes are a few images from graffiti artist/illustrator Mike Giant’s solo show at Fecalface Gallery in San Francisco opens Friday, July 20th, from 7–10 pm. It’s appropriately titled “Confessions of an Old Dirty Skateboarder,” which works well for our purposes here. From the promo shot above you might guess that Candy Grip is the name of an adult film star, but it’s the name of a color changing grip tape product trying to get funded through Kickstarter. It’s not temperature sensitive, but dependent on the angle of the light hitting it in relation to the viewer, like some of those funky paint jobs on cars. The effect is subtle, or at least their photos and videos don’t capture it too well. “Candy” is noticeably absent in the videos except as a poster frame, so you need to head on over to Flickr to see more of her. Speaking of the videos, I’m not sure what’s going on with the soundtrack, like an iPad commercial gone horribly wrong.

“Badass skateboarding” from Playboy, which is neither badass or anything other than embarrassing for all parties involved. One girl appears to know how to skate, while the other two have “action” scenes that look like they were shot at speeds approaching 2mph. Entirely safe for work video after the jump, although the domain name may be blacklisted. Highlight of the video is actual vintage equipment. – Thanks to Eric Cherry for the tip.
