Skate dogs and studios
Skate Dog Studios makes dog bowl holders out of skateboards. $75 isn’t that bad if you consider these are new boards and not used ones. Still though, it’s just a skateboard, four legs and two holes. And the bowls. Actually, that’s a good deal, except that some things just don’t need to be made out of skateboards. Maybe that’s just me, my kitchen is just too small. – Thanks to Matthijs for the tip
2006 called…
And they want their skateboarding dogs back. Actually, Neo and Tuxedo (Yes, there are two.) might have a shot at cracking the big time. I was doing my due diligence on this post and found out that the reigning champs Tyson and Tilman both appear to have let their domain names lapse. It must have been the dog-job-killing Obama Care. Skateboarding dog connoisseur and tipster Greg Baller finds the pushing style of the terrier more refined compared to the plebian plodding of the bulldog.
The Dog Bowl. Duh.
Well, here it is. Alternate views of this GVK family heirloom after the jump. He’s had this thing for years.
Dog powered embarrassment
Man, I can’t remember how I found this, but here it is. It’s actually Dog Powered Scooter, but they also cater to skateboards and recumbent bikes, excuse me, trikes. $250 gets you one harness mount. Pictures and a scooter vid with inspirational soundtrack after the jump.
RealPlayer ad execs not real current
What they lack in market share, RealPlayer is willing to make up for in nostalgia by being on top of what was popular on the internet about two years ago. They’re still doing skateboarding dogs.
Skateboarding puppies
The ASPCA blog has a video of a skateboard being mobbed by a bunch of puppies. Kind of reminds me of the street section at the skatepark. Awwww ♥♥♥!!! Trish McMillan, ASPCA Director of Animal Behavior, took this footage while conducting a training session with the pups. She says she uses it with every new litter of pups they get in. “It gets them used to novelty, skateboard sounds and moving surfaces.” View the clip after the turn.
