Skate and Annoy: Daily
Need a board, take a board. Have a board, leave a board
I was at the DOS bowl a couple months ago and noticed a rack on the wall with a few boards up there, more than there were people there. It was almost like one of those bowl of pennies at the store counter. The D.O.S. Bowl in Portland was full up over the summer, but now there are a few open spots in the membership roster, just in time for the rainy season. The facilities are clean and just like the Ramones sang, There was (is) beer in the soda machine.
Buddy the RC Skate Dog
One thing you’ll notice about Buddy The Skate Dog is that he’s house trained. So house trained in fact, that he’s not leaving the box, because he costs about $50. After this little photo shoot he went back to the kennel.
Woodward skate trail
Not really a Snake run, but more of a skate trail at Woodward. Which one? I don’t know, but it was made by California Skateparks. Looks like a lot of fun. I’d like to see more sprawling skateable terrain out there.
I wonder what’s happening…
I wonder what’s happening with the Gene Pool? Slowly but surely.
Excel – Unenslaved
I’m not fan of Excel (or Powerpoint for that matter.. Cue rim shot.) but at the very least, in 1995 they were well ahead of the curve paying respect to Dogtown. – Thanks to Matthijs for the tip
Dead pool
I thought there might be a skateable pool behind the fence, so I held my phone up and angled it over the top. I guess 1 out of 2 ain’t bad, and it is technically skateable now.
