Cheesy Fun!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t get enough wiener dogs on skateboards. This one is on a Sonic Drive In bag for their kids meals, called the Sonic Wacky Pack. There’s a girl (or funny looking boy with pigtails) also holding a skateboard, not to mention what looks like a marshmallow on roller blades. Nice grilled cheese launch ramps. The bag is dated 2012. I got this bag when I took my niece to a Sonic a couple years ago, she had never been to one and for some reason was super excited to go to it. After we left she was sort of quiet, and I asked what was wrong. She said dejectedly “It wasn’t as fun as it looks in the commercials.”
Banana Pops
Concord Foods Banana Pops kit featuring a monkey on a skateboard, and why not? It’s got cocoa in the ingredients, but it’s still only “chocolate flavored” for some reason. Well, what do you expect for $1.28?
Coastal Cooler
Coastal Cooler from Capri Sun. When I was a kid we used to get these for long road trips with the family. It was like a bottle of champaign to me.
Tree Top Apple Sauce
This is Packaging from Tree Top Apple sauce that calls to mind a certain Hack Job.
Bread Dude
This is Hawaiian Grill’s “Bread Dude.” Bread Dude? Seriously? OK. Wait, really? Bread Dude grill buns. I’m trying to imagine whose blood had more illicit chemicals in it, the person who came up with the idea, or the person who green lit it. – Thanks to John Aguilar for the photo.
la lecon de skate
When Burger restaurants try to teach you how to skateboard … seen in France
Pro-force Progurt
Yogurt is Extreme!™, especially when it’s… I don’t know. Cold? Who is that DC wearing model/athlete? We’ll never know. Unless you do. – Thanks to RJ from Pittsburgh for the tip.
Cheeburger Cheeburger Cheeburger
No Coke. Pepsi This Pepsi can hails from Greece, circa 1993. Limited edition, don’t you know? Mohawks, dogs and guitars on skateboards. Radical. I can’t believe Greece still used pull tabs on cans as late as 1993. If you don’t get the reference, look it up. Good luck finding a video. Effing Hulu…
Highly unlikley
It’s highly unlikely that this Swell brand gum is either, soft, fruity, or “swell,” given that it dates back to early 80’s. Unbelievably, the starting bid on a box of antique gum is $125. You can get an unopened box of skateboarding trading cards from roughly the same era for about quarter of that. I can’t tell exactly what is going on here, this kid is possibly puking fruit into big glass of soda. Big box after the jump.
Go Go Squeeze
GoGo Squeeze peach apple sauce in a tube. I get annoyed at my wife for buying this kind of over-packaged landfill, until she reminds me that our kids are both going to be astronauts, so they’d better get used to it. Also, my kids think the peach looks like a butt.
