Austin FC, Adidas Skateboarding, and No Comply Go Full Kit Wanker

As part of my continued effort to place Skate and Annoy among the world’s most prominent Skateboarding/MLS crossover sites I present to you this collab between No Comply skateshop and Austin FC. I got beefs. The green looks immature and cheap, especially compared to more pleasing greens with that have a storied history. Second of all, this is essentially a uniform, and you know how much skateboarders love a good uniform…

I kid. I support a different (much better) team in MLS so I’m a little jealous of this collaboration. It’s interesting that they have a faux Austin FC jersey (complete with their current jersey sponsor) and the No Comply skateshop name on the back. Would I buy something like this if they made a Portland Timbers version? Possibly, but I definitely wouldn’t wear the whole ensemble at the same time. For those of you reading S&A who aren’t into soccer despite my best efforts, that’s what the football world calls a “full kit wanker.”

Sure, I’m jealous. Hey Adidas Skateboarding, let’s do a Skate and Annoy collab! I’m ready to sell out as long as we can use Gazelles.
