  1. – Observe the non-verbal language, that is, the one that uses symbols or visual signs for complete communication: a doctor, called Frankstein) sewing, literally sewing, the son’s arm, also called Frankstein. Frankstein, the monstrous creature created by the doctor, is silent, wearing a protective helmet and next to his bloodstained skateboard located in the lower left corner of the drawing. In view of the visual cues, we realize that the doctor does not seem at all happy with his son Frankstein’s successive accidents when he skates.
    – Note that in the cartoon there are two sentences, a declarative sentence and an imperative sentence:
    – The declarative sentence is “This is the third time this week I’ve put this back on!”. A declarative sentence is a sentence that makes a statement, provides a fact, offers an explanation or conveys information and in this case (cartoon), the declarative sentence is written in the Present Perfect.
    – What is the information given by the doctor?
    – The basic information is that it is the third time in a week that the doctor sews his son Frankstein’s arm.
    – The second sentence in the cartoon is “No more SKATEBOARDING!” which is an imperative sentence because the doctor determines a command, the doctor determines that Franksteins can no longer skate, no more skateboarding.
    – I really liked this cartoon because it portrays the scenery, the characters involved, the presence of the skateboard next to Frankenstein, really cool.

    1. You put a lot of work into this comment spam, so I’m going to allow it. A+ for effort.
